Update on Monthly Membership
As we continue to evaluate additional membership tiers for our dedicated homebrewer members, we’re grateful to all monthly members for their support and look forward to continuing to serve them through annual membership options.
As of February 25, 2026, the AHA sunset the monthly membership option.
Current and renewing monthly members will be grandfathered in until July 31, 2026. At that time, pre-existing monthly memberships will conclude, and members will have the opportunity to transition to an annual membership option.
Behind the Scenes: The monthly option represented a very small portion of overall AHA membership (approximately 3%). As we look ahead, we’re focusing on streamlining our membership structure so we can dedicate more energy and resources to the programs, events, advocacy, and community connections that matter most to homebrewers. Moving to annual memberships also allows us to simplify administration and maintain a strong, secure payment process. We also are looking at how to add longer term memberships for increased savings to members. Stay tuned.
If you have questions about your membership, our Member Services team is here to help via phone or email.
Thank you for being part of the American Homebrewers Association — together, we continue to advance and celebrate the art of homebrewing working to ensure our hobby and the AHA are here for all future generations to come.
