The film Scary Movie (2000) heavily parodies the horror, slasher, and mystery genres including the movies Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The movie plot centers around a group of teenagers who one year after accidentally killing a man are stalked by a familiar masked movie madman. It parodies the Budweiser Whassup ad in one scene.
In the 2012 film That’s My Boy starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg the phrase is used as a recurring joke. There were also multiple occurrences of Budweiser product placement throughout the film.
In the 2018 movie Ant-Man and the Wasp by Marvel Studios the character Luis, played by Michael Peña, pulls up next to Scott Lang / Ant-Man, played by Paul Rudd, and says it multiple times.
In addition, the film Central Intelligence (2016) has a scene where character Bob Stone sends Calvin Joyner a video clip of the ad and asks, “Remember those commercials?”
